Dr. Ismail graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of Michigan School
of
Dentistry, which was rated the number one dental school in the country by QS World University Rankings in
2012. She
attended an intensive one-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD), where she
received
experience in aesthetic and restorative dentistry. During her education and the years following, she

Dr. Ismail’s Personal Life Outside of Dentistry
Dr. Ismail is a citizen of the world! She has lived all over the globe but moved here to become a proud
“San
Diegoian” four years ago. Outside of work, her devotion to the community and others is reflected in her
commitment to volunteering. She has worked with multiple organizations, performing dental care for refugees in
Greece, Jordan, Lebanon, and Palestine. As a self-proclaimed foodie, she enjoys cooking delicious and creative
food
for her family (especially her two daughters), staying active, and learning about overall wellness.
